My career began in 2015, after a surprising spark of inspiration from a YouTube tutorial. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a purpose. I completed my Master of Makeup Artistry in 2017 and found my true love — bridal beauty — in 2019.
Since then, I’ve worked with countless brides, combining flawless makeup with a calm, supportive presence. My goal? To help you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself, while making the experience fun, easy, and unforgettable.

So it’s 2025, and life looks a little different — and even more beautiful. Married for 5 years, I’m a proud wife to the love of my life Roy, a mama to our cheeky 2-year-old son Axel, and a dog mum to our fur baby Draco. They’re my world, and they remind me every day what truly matters.
Having planned my own wedding and navigated life’s big milestones, I understand exactly what my brides are feeling — the nerves, the excitement, the pressure, the joy. After 10 years as a makeup artist and 5 years specialising in bridal, with over 150+ beautiful brides in my chair, I can confidently say: this isn’t just makeup to me. This is personal.

“Wait... do you bake cakes?”
I get this question more than you’d think — and honestly, I don’t blame anyone. AlissasBakery does sound like I should be whipping up cupcakes instead of contouring cheekbones! But here’s the real story behind the name...
Back in 2015, when the beauty world exploded thanks to YouTube and social media, my sister Andrea (we’re 11 months apart and basically twins with different birthdays) came up with the name. While most makeup artists were going with names like “MakeupBy” or “SydneyMUA,” Andrea decided to get creative.
She used to joke that I wore so much makeup I wasn’t just applying it — I was baking it. And not the kind you eat — the kind that snatches your face and sets your concealer! So instead of baking cakes, I bake faces... and just like that, Alissasbakery was born.
It started as an inside joke, but now it’s a name I wear with pride. It reminds me of where I started, how far I’ve come, and the people who believed in me from the beginning.
