Travel fees are essential because they cover the actual costs of transporting our team and equipment safely and reliably to your location. This includes fuel, vehicle maintenance, travel time, and sometimes tolls or parking fees. These expenses ensure we can provide timely, professional service without compromising on quality. The fee also allows us to prepare properly for your day, bringing all the luxury products and tools needed for flawless hair and makeup. Without this, it would be challenging to deliver the seamless, stress-free experience you deserve—no matter where you are.

Bridal bookings are confirmed with a $200 deposit and a bridal trial must be scheduled with Alissa.

Great question! When I started my career back in 2015, I honestly thought all makeup artists were pretty much the same. Boy, was I wrong! The beauty industry is vast — from editorial, film, and TV makeup artists to special occasion and bridal artists — each has a unique skill set and approach.
A bridal makeup artist is truly something special. They’re often the first person you spend time with on your wedding day, and that moment sets the entire tone. What I’ve learned is that bridal makeup artistry isn’t just about flawless application — it’s about mastering the art of working under pressure, often in fast-paced, high-stress environments, all while keeping the energy light, fun, and positive.
Experience is key. A bridal artist must meet the high expectations of not just the bride, but the entire bridal party. But beyond technique, exceptional people skills are equally essential. I often hear brides say, “Liss, how did you make me look so perfect while we were chatting the whole time?” That’s because creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere is just as important as the makeup itself. My empathy and bubbly nature have been a huge part of what helps me connect with every person in my chair — making them feel comfortable, cared for, and confident.
