Alissa and Kay are so easy and fun to work with! Super prompt communication. Had the best time with them at the trial and even a better time on the morning of the big day! I was such a nervous bride about EVERYTHING during the lead up but Alissa, Kay and their team were so lovely to my bride squad and really calmed my nerves.

Where do I being with my experience with Alissa’s Bakery?! The experience was everything you would hope for as a bride-to-be! Alissa’s down to earth personality made every make up decision feel like a breeze! You gain more than a make-up artist throughout the process.. and instead you gain a lifelong sister/friend. I remember on my wedding day just watching Alissa and her team interact with the rest of the bridal party and just witnessing nothing but laughter and meaningful conversations in the rush to get ready for the wedding ceremony. Even after a long day, everyone’s’ make-up still looked bloody AMAZING!!!!!

I’ve mentioned this already and will mention it again and again.. my favourite part of working is Alissa is that I gained a sister. It’s been exactly a year since the wedding and she still finds the time to reach out and have meaningful conversations. She is the only MUA that I will go to for any special occassion. I highly HIGHLY recommend Alissa to brides-to-be and for those looking to get make-up done for special occassions. Her passion for this field resonates to everyone around her. It was the best experience ever! What I though would be a stressful part of the day was made so easy and comfortable. My favourite part was that we played music, major girl talk and before I knew it we were all glammed and I was ready to walk down the aisle. I would 10000% recommend Alissa and Kay. It’s one of the biggest events in your life and you want to be looked after by the best!

From booking and liaising over emails/messages, to bridal shower/makeup trials, up until the wedding day, every interaction with Alissa was seamless. Her talent and expertise is second to none, and every query to worry I had, she solved. I rarely ever wear makeup (anything more than eyelash curling is a lot for me!) but Alissa’s skills still made me feel like myself and gave me extra confidence throughout the day.

Not only does she have the experience, but her bubbly personality is what will leave you with the best and lasting impression. It truly felt like you were working with a close girlfriend. Your makeup artist will literally set the mood for the day since they will most likely be the first vendor you see, and our morning was honestly soooo fun with her, she did not disappoint! Even my bridesmaids commented on how great she was and how easy to get a long with. Definitely my favourite part about her. Would recommend any bride to book with Alissa in a heartbeat. Not only will you have the best in the business but you will also be leaving with a new friend. Alissa was incredible throughout the whole journey of organising the wedding and she will bring the absolute best vibes to start your day!

We both realised that I gave the wrong wedding date to her 2 months before our actual wedding date. We both panicked at first but she was able to reassure me that she will definitely be there on my special day. I felt so lucky. I can’t thank her enough for her kindness and vibrant energy during the day. She made us feel so beautiful and very much happy. Thank you so much Alissa, like what I always say “you were such an answered prayer”. Having Alissa do our makeup was one of the best things ever! We were so calm all morning because we knew we were in such great hands. My in-laws, and my family loved her! Her bubbly personality and friendliness with everyone is one of her best traits.

Everyone loved their makeup and it came out wonderfully and lasted all day, especially mine of course and she put my mind at ease, she even helped my sister do my hair, and she went above and beyond when she even delivered our wedding cake to our reception.

I could have asked for more in a wedding MUA. I had an idea of what I wanted but Alissa made changes that she knew would suit me better or suit my outfit better for the bridal shower, hens night, wedding photo shoot and the day of the actual wedding.

Working with Alissa is like working with a close girlfriend. I don’t know how she can concentrate so hard yet be talking to me the whole time and listening to me vent LOL. The day of the wedding is where she really shined.. she helped calm my nerves, brought me back to reality when I would freak out and helped me maintain my schedule on the busy morning of the wedding. I had a huge wedding party waiting in line for their makeup and she smashed it all out flawlessly and on time.

I highly recommend Alissa to any future bride. This girl makes anyone look stunning. I felt like a queen each time she did my makeup. It was flawless all day and the only downfall to having her as your MUA is that you’re gonna be mega sad having to wash off your perfect face.

True enough, she did her work with so much passion. From the moment I’ve met Liss (pre-wedding shoot up to until our wedding day), Liss and I easily connected as if we’ve known each other already for so long!
